Dinner Meeting with Mayor Suzanne LaFrance

 On August 3rd, Head Consul Hamada hosted a dinner meeting with Mayor Suzanne LaFrance.
During the meeting, Head Consul Hamada expressed sincere appreciation for Mayor LaFrance's longstanding dedication to strengthening the sister-city relationship between Chitose and Anchorage. He also conveyed hopes for further cooperation between Japan and the United States in the fields of cultural exchange, security and defense cooperation, and economic collaboration.
 Mayor LaFrance reflected on her experiences through the sister-city partnership and expressed her hope for further expanding exchanges and strengthening the relationship between the two cities.
 The Consular Office of Japan will continue to work closely with the Municipality of Anchorage to further promote and strengthen the friendship and cooperative relationship between Japan and the United States.
