JET Program Q&A Session

On Wednesday, July 07, the Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage, and the Alaska Chapter of the JET Alumni Association co-hosted a Q&A Session. The event is organized annually to help prepare our Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program participants as they prepare to live and work in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers or Coordinators for International Relations. This year’s online event included many of the Consular Office’s departing JETs who will be leaving for Japan later this year.

In addition to several local JET Program alumni in Alaska, one Alaska JETs currently working in Okinawa Prefecture joined the event to share their current experience of teaching in Japan during COVID-19.
