Arctic Symposium Invitation

The Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage will host the Arctic Online Symposium, “Hokkaido-Alaska Cooperation Surrounding the Arctic.” In Alaska time, the Symposium will be held in English on Tuesday, January 18 and Wednesday, January 19 from 4:00-6:30pm.
(In Japan time, the Symposium will be held on Wednesday, January 19 and Thursday, January 20 from 10am-12:30pm.)
The Arctic Online Symposium will focus on cooperation between Hokkaido and Alaska in various fields surrounding the Arctic Circle, and features presentations from leading scientists and Arctic leaders from the United States and Japan.
The Symposium is open to scholars, scientists, officials, university students, businesspersons, and all those interested in Japan-Alaska cooperation.
