Publication of the booklet of the Japan-Alaska Sister City Photo Essay Campaign

The Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage sponsored the ‘Photo Essay Campaign’ from October 2021 to March 2022. Thanks to participation by both adults and students from Alaska and Japan, it became the Consular Office’s most successful sister cities campaign yet.
The Consular Office has put together a booklet to commemorate all winning submissions. This includes the top three finishers in the ‘Youth’ and ‘Adult’ categories, as well as the ‘Most Moving Award’, the ‘Funniest Award’, and the ‘Consular Award’. The booklet also includes submissions by prominent Alaskans in the ‘Circle of Friendship’ series, as well as remarks from the Head of the Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage, Mr. Masaru Aniya.
