Meeting with Deputy Commander of the 11th Air Force Col. Philip Lancaster

On June 24, 2025, Makoto Iyori, Consul General of Japan in Seattle, together with Head Consul Hamada, met with Deputy Commander of the 11th Air Force Colonel Philip Lancaster.
Col. Lancaster and his team were kind enough to provide a presentation to Consul General Iyori and Head Consul Hamada speaking more on the US Department of Defense in Alaska, the 11th Air Force’s operations and exercises, and bilateral cooperation with Japan in Red Flag Alaska. Consul General Iyori was grateful to learn how Alaska is on the frontline for US homeland defense.
The Consular Office of Japan takes this opportunity to express its gratitude to Col. Lancaster for the meeting and wishes to continue to strengthen ties with the 11th Air Force, ALCOM, and NORAD.
