Meeting with Worley

On June 18, Head Consul Kiyohiko Hamada and Consular Office staff met with Cameron Kennedy, SVP of Alaska Operations for Worley, in Anchorage to discuss Alaska’s economic outlook and major development opportunities across the state.
Topics included the Alaska LNG (AKLNG) project, workforce requirements, infrastructure constraints, supply chain pressures, logistics challenges, mining sector outlooks, growing data center interest, and the potential for Japanese involvement in Alaska’s future economic activity.
