Meeting with Fort Richardson National Cemetery Director Tony Ramirez and Former Director Duane Mendenhall

On June 30th, 2026, Head Consul Hamada held a dinner for the former director of the Fort Richardson National Cemetery Mr. Duane Mendenhall and the current Director Tony Ramirez.
Head Consul Hamada congratulated Mr. Mendenhall on his recent retirement and expressed his sincere gratitude for his tremendous support to the Japanese community in Alaska in preserving the Japanese Cenotaph at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery.
The Consular Office looks forward to a great continuing relationship with Director Ramirez and the National Cemetery.
