On August 28, Head Consul Hamada received a courtesy call from Mr. Byeong-ho Lee, the newly appointed Head of the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Anchorage, and exchanged views on local political and economic trends, the current status of the Japanese and Korean communities, and potential future cooperation between Japan and the Republic of Korea in Alaska.
