Special Concert in Celebration of the JMSDF Training Squadron’s Port Call in Anchorage

From Wednesday, September 23rd through Saturday, September 26th, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) training vessels JS KASHIMA and JS YAMAGIRI will make a port call in Anchorage under the command of Rear Admiral Ryoko Azuma, Commander of the JMSDF Training Squadron.
Approximately 530 personnel are participating in the Training Squadron, including graduates of the 76th General Officer Candidate Course. The Squadron is currently on a 161-day overseas training cruise, visiting 11 ports in five countries, with Alaska serving as its final ports of call.
To commemorate the Squadron’s visit to Anchorage, the JMSDF Training Squadron Band will hold a special concert!
Date & Time: Thursday, September 24th, 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Venue: Dimond High School Auditorium
