Meeting with Senator Cathy Tilton

On September 28th, 2026, Head Consul Hamada hosted a visit from Alaska State Senator Cathy Tilton at the Consular Office in Anchorage.
Senator Tilton spoke about her priorities for the next legislative session, as well as her perspectives on the current state of Alaska LNG and mineral ventures. The two also discussed her insights on the upcoming November midterm elections occurring across Alaska, and the possibilities for further Japan-Alaska cooperation in the future.
