Consul Sato Visits Dimond High School Japanese Immersion Program Classes

On December 5, Mr. Masatoshi Sato, Head of the Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage and Mrs. Sato visited Dimond High School. They had a brief tour of the school kindly guided by Principal Johnson-Harris and visited Japanese Immersion Program classes. Responding to questions in Japanese posed by Japanese Immersion students, Mr. & Mrs. Sato expressed their delight to find that Japanese Immersion students are eager to know more about Japan - especially Japanese culture, and their wishes to further increase the number of friends of Japan such as Japanese Immersion students in Alaska.
