Head Consul Hamada visits Juneau to meet with Legislators

On March 11 and 12, 2025, Head Consul Kiyohiko Hamada visited the Alaska State Capitol in Juneau to meet with a wide array of lawmakers from different districts. Discussions were centered on education funding, AK LNG, renewable energy, sister city relations, and priorities for each legislator.
 
The Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage looks forward to continued cooperation with the Alaska State Legislature.
