Mr. Greg Wolf visits the Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage

On August 6, Mr. Greg Wolf, the Executive Director of World Trade Center Anchorage, visited the Office, and exchanged views with Mr. Aniya. Director Wolf talked about the lengthy economic exchange between Alaska and Japan, which dates back to the opening of the State of Alaska’s Trade Office in Japan in 1965. While also referring to the first LNG export from Alaska to Japan in 1969, and the World Trade Center Anchorage’s annual Japan business conference held in Alaska in recent years, Mr. Wolf also exchanged views with Mr. Aniya about holding similar events in the future and promoting further exchange between Japan and Alaska.
