JAA-hosted online rice pounding celebration event

On January 2nd, Mr. Masaru Aniya and Mrs. Yukiko Aniya attended the JAA-hosted online rice pounding celebration event.
At the event, in addition to greetings from Ms. Makiko Boyd, JAA President, and Mr. Aniya, rice pounding demonstration, Iaido demonstration (*) by Mr. Ando of Alaska Kendo Club, and singing performance by Pipeline Vocal Project etc. were made lively, and enjoyed by the online audience.
It was an auspicious event early in the new year.
(*) Iaido is Japanese martial art that emphasizes being aware and capable of quickly drawing the sword and responding to a sudden attack.
